Old Larimer Street Tattoo was founded in 2009 by Joe Miller. After many years working for others, he found flaws in the way their shops were run and opened Old Larimer in hopes of exceeding any expectations clients might have when walking into a "typical" tattoo shop.

Nestled in the heart of Denver, between LoDo and RiNo Art district, this two-story tattoo shop is home-away-from-home to 16 resident tattoo artists.

The lower-level of Old Larimer Street Tattoo is more of a private studio setting. With 10 stations for the Appointment Only tattoo artists, who handle all of their own schedules and are not available for walk-ins. The upper-level is our store front and functions as a street shop. There are up to 7 artists available to offer you appointments and walk-in’s on a daily basis!

Our goal at Old Larimer Street Tattoo is to offer something special to both client and artist. Whether you’re looking for a long term client/artist relationship or for just a fun walk-in on a whim, we’ve got you covered!

For our artists, the upper level offers a safe and reputable space for new tattooers to learn and grow as artists all while building a clientele base. The lower level offers a place for our artists to graduate to being appointment only without having the stressors of opening their own studio, allowing them to devote all of their attention to one client without the street-shop distractions.
