Aaron Diaz was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and has been part of the cities tattoo industry since 2012. As a graffiti artists growing up, he was always drawn to the more artistic aspects of lettering, “I always thought that instead of just being a word or a phrase, it can be a piece of art just like any other style”. Although he was trained traditionally in tattooing and has experience with most styles, Aaron has been exclusively tattooing letter for about six years now.

Aaron has traveled around the country, whether for a tattoo convention or a guest spot, tattooing his custom lettering and calligraphy on big time collectors and other fellow tattoo artists from around the globe.

Being a self-taught calligrapher, he specializes in Fraktur and abstract calligraphy, and Aaron says his favorite style of lettering, and the style that clients seek the most is for his stylized calligraphy alphabets.

He has also has the opportunity to team up with worldwide recognized clothing company, Sullen Art Collective, to collaborate on exclusive articles of clothing that feature Aarons own artwork.
